PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isolator capable of being used for light weight construction such as a detached house and light equipments, and exercising the base isolation effect on the rolling by engaging and conneting the metallic plates of the uppermost stage and the lowermost stage to a mounting flange. SOLUTION: A disc-shaped metallic plate 1a is positioned on a lowermost stage, an interfitting hole is formed on a central part on the rear side, an twelve engagement holes are formed on the outside of a position corresponding to an outer periphery of the interfitting hole, a disc-shaped elastic body 4a is fitted in the interfitting hole, and the sliding frictional bodies 5 such as the disc-shaped rubber plates and the like are respectively fitted in the engagement holes. A central shaft insertion hole is formed on a central part at a surface side of the metallic plate 1a, and four pin insertion holes are formed in connection to the interfitting hole while surrounding the central shaft insertion hole. The engagement pins 9 projecting from an mounting flange 8 fixed to the foundation concrete are fitted into the four pin insertion holes. Four pin insertion holes capable of inserting the engagement pins 9 are formed on the elastic body 4a such as a rubber plate and the like.
