PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional information input camera capable of improving three-dimensional information input precision by reducing the movement of an image due to hand deflection and influence of movement of an image which is caused by the movement of a camera subject. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional information input camera is equipped with a photographing means photographing a photographing region and a projecting means projecting a pattern light on the photographing region. The photographing means photographs a projection pattern formed on a camera subject in the photographing region which pattern is formed by the pattern light projected from the projecting means. The projecting means projects the pattern light in the state of gradation by using space modulation elements 540, 545 capable of electromagnetic change.
