摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate various inspection of a spectacle lens of any form to improve the productivity and reduce the manufacturing cost by performing the attitude control of the lens by a rotating mechanism having two orthogonal axes. SOLUTION: The objective-side surface of a spectacle lens 1 is vacuum sucked and retained by two suction pads 2, whereby the eyeglass lens 1 can be handled even if its circumference is not circular. The two suction pads 2 attractively retain the positions equally spaced from the optical center of the spectacle lens 1. The axisθ1 and the axisθ2 has an orthogonal positional relation. In the carrying of the spectacle lens 1, cylinders 11, 13 are protruded to lock the axisθ1 and the axisθ2 in order to prevent the interference of the spectacle lens 1 with a measuring apparatus protruding part and the shaking of the spectacle lens 1. Springs 12, 14 are mounted for preventing the axisθ1 and the axisθ2 from being rotated prior to attitude control by the losing of weight balance by the recessing of the cylinders 11, 13 in the measurement of a mass eccentric spectacle lens.
