PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently realize high-frequency induction heating of an exhaust port by constituting an exhaust port of a molten material formed in a melting tank of an inner layer made of a conductive material having superior corrosion resistance and a specific electrical resistivity and an outer layer made of a conductive material having superior oxidation resistance and a specific electrical resistivity. SOLUTION: In this melting apparatus, having an exhaust port 3 of a molten material 10 by protruding from a lower portion of an outer peripheral wall of a melting tank 1 having an inlet 2 of a waste at an upper portion, an electromagnetic coil 4 for induction heating the port 3 is provided at the outside of the port 3 via a heat insulator 6. The port 3, brought into contact with the material 10, is formed of an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer 8 is formed of a conductive material having superior corrosion resistance and a low electrical resistivity of a low heating efficiency of about 1×10-7Ωm and containing a ZrB2 as the main component. Meanwhile, the layer 7 is formed of a conductive material, having superior corrosion resistance and a high electrical resistivity of a heating efficiency of about 1×10-4Ωm and containing SiC as a main component.
