PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical adapter for an endoscope which can be easily and highly accurately assembled even though a structure is complicated, which can accurately measure an object and whose outside diameter can be miniatur ized. SOLUTION: An interval control member 14 accurately controlling an interval between a first frame member 11 and a second frame member 12 is arranged between the members 11 and 12, and an adapter main body 16 is integrally screwed to the members 11 and 12 by fixing screws 37a and 37b in this condition, so that the members 11 and 12 can be mechanically linked and fixed with the member 14 in between.
