PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to hear an interrupted announcement once or at a desired number of times in the case of receiving a digital audio broadcast signal and to be quickly restored to an original state after that. SOLUTION: The broadcast signal receiver is provided with a cannel selection reception section 22 that selectively receive a digital audio broadcast signal, a data reproduction section 23 that reproduces program data and control information data selected from the received digital audio broadcast signal, audio signal output sections 33, 34 that obtain a reproduced audio signal of the basis of the selected program data, and a control unit 50 that detects a period of an announcement represented by ammouncement data on the basis of part corresponding to the announcement data included in the selected program data and relates the period of the detected announcement to introduction of the announcement data as program data selected in the data reproduction section 23.
