<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a front plate having a dielectric film with no defect at high yield to realize a device with high reliability by inspecting the dielectric film after processes of printing, drying, and baking, and correcting defects such as pinholes and voids. SOLUTION: A defect 51 is detected with an appearance inspection device, and the position coordinate data of the defect 51 is sent to a correcting device. The correcting device, following the instruction of a treating device, attaches correcting glass paste 31 to the tip of a needle 11, and then raises the needle 11 with a driving device, to stand by. When the defect 51 comes just under the needle 11, the needle 11 attached with the collecting glass paste 31 is lowered down with a driving mechanism so as to bring into contact with a defected part. Part of the correcting glass paste 31 is attached to the defect 51, several times if necessary, to fill the defect 51 with the correcting glass paste 32.</p> |
