SOLUTION: The residual power level of a battery is made to be confirmed by the lighted state of a LED 6 when a telephone set body is folded by setting a battery level display switching mode to 'on' before folding the telephone set main body, and it is confirmed by the display of a liquid crystal indicator when it is opened.
