PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image drying device capable of obtaining an excellent image and also improving its life by preventing image drying defect caused by staining with ink. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a drying belt 11 formed by coating the surface of film being base material with functional material, a press-contact roller 16 set so that the belt 11 and a driving belt 7 provided with a photoreceptor on its surface are made to intervene between a counter driving roller 6 rotating and moving the driving belt 7 and the roller 16 and rotated by following the roller 6 by frictional torque, a heat roller 15 heating the belt 11, and a tension steering roller 12 giving specified tension to the belt 11. The belt 11 is rotated and moved, and is heated to specified temperature by the heat roller 15, and absorbs solvent from the photoreceptor with which the belt 11 is brought into contact between the rollers 6 and 16 so as to gasify the solvent. |
