PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of reducing time taken to exchange attributes. SOLUTION: In this communication system, a differential information preparing part 105 retrieves a standard attribute being the closest to its own terminal attribute and prepares differential attribute information between the standard attribute and the self-terminal attribute. Then, it exchanges its name as a standard attribute and subsequently, transmits a part lacking in the standard attribute as differential information. According to this configuration, an attribute can be designated more minutely, and even when a terminal has an attribute different from the standard attribute, it can reduce time taken for attribute exchange.
