PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding apparatus with a more simplified structure for a mounting board capable of improving assemblage and productivity, and achieving high electromagnetic shielding performance. SOLUTION: This shielding apparatus is made from a conductive metal, and constructed such that a mounted board 33 is pinched between upper and lower shield case parts 34 and 35 constituting a shield case, and the board 33 and the parts 34 and 35 are fixed together with first screw members 36, whereby the parts 34 and 35 conduct electrically to connect the board 33 to a grounding wire. The parts 34 and 35 pinching the board 33 therebetween are housed in cabinet parts 37 and 38 constituting a cabinet, and the shielding case and the cabinet are fixed together with second screw members 39. Thus, the shielding case is supported inside the cabinet, without providing means such as a boss for supporting the shield case inside the cabinet, wasteful space can be eliminated, and the apparatus can be downsized.
