METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AN INTERACTIVE VIDEOGRAPHY THROUGH A CIRCULAR VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICE

The present invention can be used in telecommunication techniques as well as in telematics services, and essentially relates to a method for transmitting an interactive videography through a circular videography service. According to this method, a subscriber asks a circular videography service for the interactive videography he needs through a telephone network. The circular videography service gives an individual address to the page containing the interactive videography and transmits the same through the telephone network to the subscriber who loads it into the circular videography controller of the receiver and reports through the telephone network to the circular videography service. The circular videography service then transmits the page containing the interactive videography. The service simultaneously transmits to the subscriber and through the telephone network a command that prevents the circular videography controller of the receiver from comparing the current address of the page transmitted by said service with the address of the page stored in the circular videography controller of the receiver for receiving the subscriber's interactive videography or else, the address of a page which is not used during the transmission of the interactive circular videography. The subscriber loads it into the circular videography controller of the receiver, reports to the circular videography service through the telephone network and, by repeating a given algorithm, finds and receives the interactive videography he needs.
