A solar cell back cover material (1) formed by laminating for integration a skin film (3) and a moisture-proof film (2) with an EVA adhesive (4), wherein the moisture-proof film (2) is prepared by forming an inorganic oxide coating film on the front surface of a base material film. A solar cell back cover material/sealing film formed by laminating for integration this back cover material (1) and an EVA film (6). A solar cell (10) formed by sealing solar cell elements (7) between a front-surface-side transparent protection member (8) and a rear-surface-side protection member consisting of this solar cell back cover material (1). A solar cell back cover material and a solar cell back cover material/sealing film which are lightweight and thin, excellent in moisture-proof ability and durability, high in insulating performance and free from leaked current, and a high-durability and high-performance solar cell which uses the back cover material as a rear-surface-side protection member.
