NOVEL FETAL GENES

摘要

Novel fetal genes (fls353 and fls485) are successfully isolated from cDNAs orginating in human fetal liver. These genes are expressed specifically in tissues typified by fetal tissues which are seemingly rich in undifferentiated cells or cells under vigorous differentiation and proliferation. Also, these genes are highly expressed in various cancer cells. These proteins and genes encoding the same are usable as tools for developing drugs against tumor.
