A printed matter having a sealed fore-edge practical and easy to paste a sealing tape is provided. Further, a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for the same are provided. The printed matter comprises a printed matter main body (2) in a form of a booklet or at least a twofold sheet, and a sealing tape (10) for sealing a fore-edge (5) of the printed matter main body (2). Further, the sealing tape (10) bridges a top face and a back face of a cover (3) of the printed matter main body (2) along the fore-edge (5) and is provided with adhesive (X) for repeated adhesion to the cover (3). The sealing tape (10) includes an extension (14) projecting out of a top cover face (3a) from an upper edge (7a), and an extension (15) projecting out of a back cover face (3b) from a lower edge (7b). The upper and lower extensions (14, 15) are formed by cutting the continuous sealing tape.
