<p>A handle (20) useful in combination with a container (200) includes a plastic strap or bail (22) and a plastic sleeve (42) thereon. The bail or strap (22) of the handle (20) is pivotably connected to the container (200), and the sleeve (42) can be rotated about the bail (22). Structures are provided to distribute load forces between the bail (22) and sleeve (42). Structures are also provided to retain the sleeve (42) along the longitudinal axis of the bail (22). One or more clip members (50) can be provided on the bail (22) to engage the handle (20) in a selected position with respect to the container (200). Preferred methods for assembling and using the apparatus (including the combination of the handle (20) and container (200) are disclosed.</p> |
