PRINTING TAPE AND TAPE CARTRIDGE THEREFOR

A printing tape capable of being pasted positively to the uneven pasting surface of an adherend with a good compatibility and prevented, when wound around a tubular body, from being overlapped at the ends thereof to conceal a printed portion, and a tape cartridge therefor. The printing tape consists of a shape memory member, which, when heated to temperatures higher than room temperature, is deformed into a pre-stored shape. The shape memory member of the printing tape is so formed as to have a flat strip shape at room temperature and to be deformed into an arc shape in section with respect to the tape width after heated, whereby the tape can be pasted to a tubular object of pasting in a good wound condition by being heated after pasted to the object.
