A fuel feed passage(11) provided in the cylinder head(1) or in a part(2) such as the rocker cover connected to it and leading to the fuel injection valve(7). Several fuel injection valves may be provided in or on the cylinder head, and the passage is disposed so that it is connected to all the housing bores(14) of the valves. The passage runs perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis(15) of the fuel injection valve.
