An element integrated with the housing of a mains circuit breaker indicates the level of power consumption in the circuit in which it is connected. The indication may be qualitative, e.g. using an LED, LCD, or audible signal generator, signifying that the consumption exceeds a threshold value of 10 watts or so, or may be presented quantitatively by a digital or analogue display.
