PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which a lithium manganese oxide having an improved cycle characteristic, especially having an improved cycle characteristic under a high temperature environment is used as a positive electrode active material. SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is provided with a positive electrode in which positive electrode active material is a lithium manganese oxide, a negative electrode, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte, a liquidous quantity of the nonaqueous electrolyte is 0.8 to 1.5 when the sum of a cavity volume is 1 which is calculated by each cavity ratio of the positive electrode, the negative electrode and the separator. It is possible to restrain consumption of the lithium and a capacity deterioration by controlling an electrolyte volume. |
