A teaching-purpose high-voltage discharge experimentation apparatus for carrying out a discharge experimentation using a high voltage is provided. The apparatus includes a high voltage generating unit for generating a predetermined discharge voltage, a measurement unit for measuring voltage and current values of a high-voltage power generated by the high voltage generating unit, a needle-to-needle discharge compartment for applying the high voltage generated by the high voltage generating unit between needle electrodes to cause a needle-to-needle discharge, if a switch is turned on, a needle-to-sphere discharge compartment for applying the high voltage between a needle electrode and a sphere electrode to cause a needle-to-sphere discharge, if a switch is turned on, a sphere-to-sphere discharge compartment for applying the high voltage between sphere electrodes to cause a sphere-to-sphere discharge, if a switch is turned on, and a needle-to-plate discharge compartment for applying the high voltage between a needle electrode and a plate electrode to cause a needle-to-plate discharge, if a switch is turned on, whereby various discharge experiments are carried out using a single system. After a high voltage is generated electrically or manually, discharges occurring between electrodes having various structures can be observed by varying electrode distances. |
