Said roll stand comprises a housing (3) that encloses the roll stand (1), said housing having an air inlet (5) and an air outlet (12) between which a directional air current (L1) flows through the roll stand (1). The inventive roll stand provides a means for reducing the environmental impact of the roll stand.
