The paving slab has rectangular projecting spacers (7) on its corners and rectangular recesses (4, 6) between these on its sides. The width (9) of each recess is twice the length (8) of the projection (measured in the same direction), so that the recess cooperates with the projections on two slabs laid next to it, giving a continuous row of slabs without gaps.
