An antiperspirant composition is a structured emulsion of a continuous phase containing water-immiscible liquid carrier plus a structurant, and a disperse phase which is a solution of antiperspirant active in water or a mixture of water and water-soluble solvent. The composition has at least 1 % light transmittance at 580nm, measured through 1 cm at 22 DEG C. Preferably the structurant gels the continuous phase by forming a network of fibres which extend throughout this phase.
