A process for reacting certain carboxylic reactants and at least one aldehyde or ketone with olefinic compounds then reacting the intermediate prepared thereby with ammonia, a hydrazine or an amine, products prepared thereby and, additive concentrates, lubricating oil and fuel compositions.
