PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To machine a part with high accuracy without any increase in thickness more than needed by screw-engaging plural screw members capable of projecting and recessing from the fitting reference face having the shape and the accuracy equal to that of a counterpart formed on a work holder of a finishing machine with fitting holes of a thin part to machine the thin part in the closely contact state. SOLUTION: A fitting reference face 21 having the shape and the accuracy corresponding to the fitting face of a front plate 12 is formed on a work holder 20. The work holder 20 is provided with taps 22 capable of projecting and recessing from the fitting reference face 21 in plural positions corresponding to the positions of counter boring holes 13 of a mount member 10. The mount member 10 is made closely adhere to the fitting reference face 21 with the same force as that for fixing the mount member 10 to the front plate 12 by a fixing screw 11. Thus, the same or similar state to the state of fixing the mount member 10 to the front plate 12 by the fixing screw 11 is produced between the fitting reference face 21 of the work holder 20 and the mount member 10 to conduct precise machining required by the mount face 18 of the mount member 10.
