PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bend a long size material of a pipe, etc., in a short time and in a good dimensional precision. SOLUTION: A long size material bender 10 is provided with a base 12, a pair of columnar members 14, 16 which are erected on the base 12 and parallel each other, a bar member 18 bridged between these columnar members 14, 16, a collar member 20 mounted to the bar member 18, a clamp mechanism 38 and a bending mechanism 40 arranged between the collar member 20 and the clamp mechanism 38. One end of a long size material to be bent is abutted on one face of the collar member 20, the long size material is bent by the bending mechanism by holding/fixing to the clamp mechanism 38. The bent length at this time is of a distance from the clamp mechanism 38 to the collar member 20, even in the case that an another long size material is bent, it is bent in a good dimensional precision.
