PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the pipe end of a rotating pipe without wearing in the case of applying a powder coating material on the inside surface of the pipe. SOLUTION: This thrust bearing device for setting the pipe 1 at a prescribed position in the axis direction in a device for supporting the pipe 1 having a faucet 3 at one end to rotate the pipe around the axis and coating the inside surface thereof is provided with a base plate 9 capable of being fixed at the faucet position of the pipe 1 and a contact member supported by the base plate 9 to enable to be in contact with the opening surface of the faucet 3 of the pipe 1 in plane and to enable to be rotated around the axis of the pipe 1.
