PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high filtration efficiency for a long duration as a whole by evenly washing a large number of filtration membranes. SOLUTION: A filtration unit 14 is so hung on a beam by a freely expansive and contractive supporting member 38 so that the lower end position is adjustable. The filtration unit 14 whose lower end position is adjusted comprises reciprocally arranged filtration units 14A positioned in the lower side and filtration units 14B positioned in the upper side. Consequently, the air aerated from an aeration cylinder 50 form air pool divided by the filtration units 14A in the lower side under the filtration units 14B in the upper side.
