PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge purified water from a drain hole by collecting an oil or detergent component low in specific gravity by a filter and passing only water high in specific gravity through the channels between the outer periphery of the filter and the inner wall of a filter housing main body to accumulate the same on the bottom of the filter housing main body. SOLUTION: The oils and fats-contaminated sewage water separating and purifying device is constituted by arranging a cylindrical filter 8 to the central region in a cylindrical filter housing main body 1. The filter housing main body 1 is closely covered with a filter pressing closure 4 provided with a disc- shaped foreign matter collecting filter 7 in order to press and fix the filter to purify the sewage water made turbid with water, a detergent, used contaminated oil or the like.
