PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare the subject water-disintegrable sheet disposable in a flushing toilet, and to be used by being put on an excreta-absorbing mat for dealing with pet excreta. SOLUTION: This sheet which is characterized by being disintegrable in water is such one as to be used by being put on the surface layer of an excreta- absorbing mat made up of the liquid-penetrable surface layer, a liquid- impenetrable underside layer and an absorbing core interposed in between the surface layer and underside layer. When the sheet is used, pet excreta can be easily and hygienically treated; furthermore, the mat is not stained by excreta and usable continuously, therefore causing no waste.
