PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform excellent lubricity and wear resistance at a high temperature by forming an Si-SiC composite material or an SiC composite material. SOLUTION: The mold is formed of an Si-SiC composite material or an SiC composite material 1. Here, as the Si-SiC composite material, a material having a matrix in which a content ratio of a silicon is raised as separated from a surface of a yarn is used. A base skeleton made of a C/C composite material forms a yarn assembly 6 obtained by laminating a plurality of yarn arrays 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, and 1F formed of carbon fibers in a specific direction. The respective arrays 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E and 1F are obtained by yarns constituted by bundling specific number of carbon fibers and arraying the yarns substantially parallel to each other in a two-dimensional manner. A skeleton of the SiC composite material is fundamentally similar to that of the Si-SiC material. Thus, excellent dimensional accuracy and mold releasability can be obtain at a high temperature. |
