PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an appropriate reaction regardless of the physique of an occupant who abuts an airbag body. SOLUTION: The part of an outer airbag body 32 pressed by an occupant abuts an inner airbag body 34 to close air bents 40 in the inner airbag body 34 to reduce the amount of gas that migrates from the inner airbag body 34 into the space 48 between the outer airbag body 32 and the inner airbag body 34. Therefore, the amount of gas entering the space 48 through the air vents 40 and escaping outside of the airbag body 18 through vent holes 46 can be adjusted depending on the physique of the occupant who abuts the airbag body. |
