PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clogging prevention method for a separator/refiner suppressing the generation of gel at a high temperature, fouling in equipment, clogging of pipes and decrease of thermal efficiency for a long time and to provide a gelling inhibitor for suppressing above mentioned troubles with a little amount. SOLUTION: This suppressing method comprises adding (a) at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of compounds including a NO radical and precursor compounds formable a NO radical, (b) a phosphorus- including compound and (c) at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of heterocyclic aldehydes, aromatic aldehydes and their condensates to prevent clogging of equipment.
