PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily scoop excessive cake dough by forming a material formed of a sheet to form a cup-like container body, demarcating a side wall into a plurality of folded pieces with a plurality of folding lines as boundaries, and forming a stepped part in the circumferential direction of a container in each folded piece. SOLUTION: A container body 1 of a circular cup-like container for cake is formed of a square stock formed of a thin paper. A first circular valley fold 3 is pressed substantially in a center of the stock, and the surface of the stock is demarcated into a bottom wall 4 and a side wall 5 by the valley fold 3. A second fold 6 and a ridge fold 7 are formed on the side wall 5 so as to be extended in the diagonally intersecting direction with and in the direction orthogonal to a peripheral edge portion of the stock from each corner of the bottom wall 4, and the stock is demarcated into a rectangular first folded piece 8, a triangular second folded piece 9, and a pentagonal third folded piece 10. A stepped portion is formed by forming inward and outward folds 11, 12 on the folded pieces 8-10.
