PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized traveling properties at a temperature in the range of printer operation guarantee, not generating any blocking in the high temperature atmosphere and forming a good image. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer recording acceptive sheet is formed of a base sheet and a dye acceptive layer formed at least on one face of the base sheet, and the acceptive layer is constituted of a resin composed of a polymer having a carbonyl in molecules as a main component and containing a colloidal silica of 10-100 nm average particle diameter measured by a laser granule meter and 250 m2/g or smaller specific surface area in the range of 21-50 wt.% of the weight of the acceptive layer.
