PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the coloring sensitivity and increase the stability of a coloring part and a non-color developing part and improve the storage stability by dispersively adding a specific amount of inorganic pigment powder to 100 pts.wt. powder of dibenzyl oxalates to prepare a sensitizer composition for a heat-sensitive recording sheet. SOLUTION: The sensitizer composition for a heat-sensitive recording sheet is prepared by dispersively adding 1-40 pts.wt. inorganic pigment powder, suitably 2-20 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. powder of dibenzyl oxalates. The best recommended inorganic pigment powder is silicon dioxide, aluminum hydroxide, aluminum oxide, white carbon or the like. In addition, the dibenzyl oxalates are dibenzyl oxalate, di(p-methylbenzyl)oxalate, di(p-methoxybenzyl)oxalate and the like as the best-suited choice. Further, the sensitizer composition can be used together with a coloring lactone compound such as a 3,3-bis(p- dimethylaminophenyl)phthalide or the like. |
