PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the opening degree of a luggage door pressurized by a pair of torsion bars of a vehicle without need for additional parts of a checking mechanism. SOLUTION: The length of the outside leg part 23 of a U-shaped arm part 20 formed at the end part of a torsion bar 5 is made smaller than that of the inside leg part 22. The base part of the inside leg part 22 is rotatably retained on the inside surface 15 of a hinge support 10 which is formed at the side edge on the interior side of the horizontal surface of the hinge support 10 extending to the rear of a vehicle and pivoting the front end part of a hinge arm 3. On the outside surface 13 is formed an arc-shaped long groove 14 having the radius of the reduced length around the non-reduced position of the outside leg part 23. The base part of the outside leg part 23 is bent toward the vehicle out side, thereby forming a slide-bar part 25 sliding along the outer edge of the long groove 14 in synchronization with the opening of a luggage door. The magnitude of the friction of the slide-bar part against the outer edge is set so that the self-opening of the luggage door when it is unlocked may be restrained temporarily at a middle opening position.
