PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fume sucking light shielding protection mask by which fumes are efficiently collected with excellent convenience. SOLUTION: A sucking tube 5 with a prescribed length being 20-40 mm in inner diameter, which is for sucking the fumes generated at the time of arc-welding, is attached to a metallic fitting 4 so as to be projected forward, which is arranged in the surface part 2 of the light shielding protection mask. A nozzle 7 is arranged in the tip part of the tube 5, one of ball joints 9 constituted to be freely rotation and inclination possible in an optical direction is attached at a discharge side where the grip 6 of the tube 5 is disposed and, then, a heat resistant hose connected to a fume collecting machine is connected to the other one of the ball joints.
