PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical elevator that realizes a short waiting time and a small car capacity. SOLUTION: This elevator control system has destination floor registration buttons 7 arranged in all landings to enable destination floor registration from the landings, destination floor registering means 13 for registering, upon an operation of the destination floor registration buttons 7, a destination floor call including a departure floor and a destination floor, and service call selecting means 15 for selecting, after every elevator service, as the next service call one or more car calls supposed to be met as a whole within a preset time from the registered destination floor calls. Each service call precludes all the other destination floor calls.
