PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a sorter function to electrophotographic copiers and printers by regulating the ejection position of their image-formed paper. SOLUTION: A digital copier 101 includes an ejecting mechanism 109, consisting of the second ejection feed roller 9b and a motor 109c, which is defined above a housing cover situated between an image reading part and an image forming part when the image reading part is positioned over the image forming part, and which selectively guides paper outputted from the image forming part to a first position along the paper feed direction and a second position spaced further from the first position in the feed direction. A variation in the rotational frequency of the motor 109c accordingly varies the driving force the second ejection feed roller 9b gives to the paper, which is in turn changed in its ejection position.
