PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device capable of allowing a connecting and disconnecting operation of a rotary excavating member to be performed easily in a rotary driving device so as to ensure the safety of the operation. SOLUTION: This rotary excavating member connecting device comprises a connection adapter 12 having an outer periphery on which a connection hook 15 is installed protrusively and connected to a rotary excavating member 6 and a connecting cylindrical member 14 which is fixed to a rotary output member 13 of a rotary driving device 5 and to which the connection adapter 12 can be inserted. A hook locking groove to prevent the adapter 12 from being rotated by the locking of the connection hook 15 at the time of insertion of the connection adapter 12 is provided in the connecting cylindrical member 14. In addition, an annular opening and closing shutter 20 capable of being rotated between a closed position where the hook locking groove is closed to stop the axial movement of the adapter 12 and an open position where the hook locking groove is open to release the connection hook 15 is provided also in the connecting cylindrical member 14.
