PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always maintain a tombstone in a clean state by providing a cover body equipped with an openable door, for covering a tombstone arranged on a top surface of a charnel house, on the top surface of the charnel house which houses ashes. SOLUTION: A tombstone 3 comprising a square base 24, a lotus pedestal 25, a lotus 26, and a stone head 27, is mounted on a charnel house 2 via a cover stone 4. A flower stand 13, a candle stand 15, and an incense burner 14 are fixed on a top surface of the cover stone 4 on the front side of the tombstone 3. Further, lower frame members 10 are arranged on three sides of the tombstone 3 except for the front side, along the outer edges of the tombstone 3 on the top surface, and support columns 1 are arranged at both longitudinal ends of the lower frame members 10. Then, wall members 5 are fitted into concave grooves 20 of the respective lower frame members 10 and holding grooves of the respective support columns 7. Further, poles 8 are erected along the support columns 7 on the front side of the tombstone 3, and an openable folding door 9 is pivotally mounted in openings between the poles 8. Still further, wall members 5 are fitted in concave grooves of respective upper frame members 11, and a roof member 6 is mounted on top surfaces of the respective upper frame members 11 and top surfaces of the respective support columns 7, whereby a covering body 1 is formed. Thus, the tombstone 3 can be maintained in a clean state.
