PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed guide plate that prevents jams in feeding and exhibits high feed performance inexpensively by virtue of an insulating member with a plurality of long projections practically parallel to the sheet feed direction. SOLUTION: An image recorder 1 mainly comprises a platen 2, a thermal head 3, a toner ribbon 4, a receiver sheet 5, a paper feed cassette 6, a cassette cover 7, an output tray part 8 and feed guide plates 9a and 9b disposed in the feed path of the receiver sheet 5. In the image recorder 1, the feed guide plates 9a and 9b, a guide plate arranged on the output tray part 8, and part of that surface of the cassette cover 7 on the paper feed cassette 6 which contacts sheets, particularly the portion on which sheets are liable to stick, are all provided with a plurality of resinous members with long projections substantially parallel to the sheet feed direction.
