PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slip during rolling by improving the fixing strength of a rolling ring in the rolling roll whose rolling ring is fixed to the outer periphery of the main body of the roll. SOLUTION: In the rolling roll constituted by fixing the rolling ring 14 to the outer periphery of the main body 11 of the roll which is revolved around the axial line O, lateral pressure S is imparted to this rolling ring 14 in the axial line O direction and also the rolling ring 14 is fixed on the outer periphery of the main body of the roll by imparting internal pressure P from the inner peripheral side in the radial direction to the axial line O, for example, by fixing by executing shrinkage fit, expansion fit or press fit of the rolling ring 14 on the outer periphery of a cylindrical holder 18 attached to the outer periphery of the main body 11 of the roll.
