PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching device for attaching a draining utensil near a washbowl stand and for attaching various kinds of draining utensils. SOLUTION: This attaching device 1 is for attaching a draining utensil 3 having a first and second attaching holes 3a, 3b bored right and left with a space in-between on the rear side and a third attaching hole 3c bored above or below between the attaching holes 3a and 3b on the rear side to the rear side of a washbowl stand 2. The device also has a forward-facing first vertical plate member 10 attached to the rear side of the washbowl stand 2, a forward- facing second vertical plate member 11 to which the draining utensil 3 is attached, and an attaching means for attaching the second vertical plate member 11 to the first vertical plate member 10. A first lateral slot 11c corresponding to the first attaching hole 3a, a second lateral slot 11d corresponding to the second attaching hole 3b, and a vertical slot 11e corresponding to the third attaching hole 3c are bored on the second vertical plate member 11.
