GRASPING DEVICE OF LINEAR BODY USED IN WINDING OF LINEAR BODY ON REEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate and ensure the winding of the end of a linear body on a reel in the winding of the linear body on the reel by forming a clearance capable of inserting the linear body between nipping members when one nipping member is pressed against a spring acting in the direction of closing the clearance between the nipping members. SOLUTION: One nipping member 18a is pressed against a spring arranged between a pair of nipping members 18a and 18b to open the nipping members 18a and 18b. The insertion of a linear body 14 to the resulting space is performed (the taking out thereof is allowed). The linear body 14 is grasped between the nipping members 18a and 18b by the restoring force of the spring. When the relative positions of a grasping device 18 and the guide pulley of a traverser 20 are separated in the axial direction of a reel 12, the linear body 14 can be spirally wound on a reel drum part 12a by rotating a disc 16 about the axial line X of the reel 12 since the linear body 14 is shifted to the disc 16 side.
