PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of air into a suction chamber at self-priming, and improve self-priming property by positioning a water feed port and a delivery port of priming on an upper part keeping a specified distance from the center of a pump impeller in a cabinet, in a self-priming pump for feeding water to a laundry machine by sucking bath water. SOLUTION: When water in a bathtub is pumped, a part of tap water is led from a hydrant to a priming port 35. Bath water is self-primed from a water absorbing plug 36 by driving a pump motor 54, and water is supplied to a laundry machine side. At this time, a part opposite to the rotational direction of a liner (an impeller) 53 attached to a motor shaft becomes low pressure, a part of priming is led to a suction port of the liner 53 via the low pressure part from a return hole 52a, and is discharged to an outer peripheral side of the liner 53 at the rotational direction (a surface side) of the impeller, while catching air in the vicinity of a bell-mouth of a partition plate 52. The priming port 35 and the delivery port and positioned upward keeping the distance of 1.4 times or large of the liner diameter from the center of the liner 53 to prevent leakage of air at the time of self-priming. |
