PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high quality printing easily and quickly when one pixel is formed by ejecting a plurality of ink liquid drops by providing a nozzle group of a plurality of ink nozzles being juxtaposed while making a set and short-circuiting the counter electrodes corresponding to respective ink nozzles. SOLUTION: Volume of an ink chamber 106 is increased or decreased by attracting or recovering a diaphragm 107 to vary the ink pressure in the ink chamber 106 thus ejecting an ink liquid drop from an ink nozzle 105 opening in the end face of an ink jet head 100. The ink nozzles 105 are formed as a nozzle group and the counter electrodes 109 thereof are short-circuited at an electrode lead part 115 and connected with one discrete electrode terminal 114. Ink liquid drops are ejected simultaneously from the nozzle group by driving one discrete electrode terminal 114 arbitrarily. More specifically, a plurality of ink liquid drops for forming one pixel in print results are ejected simultaneously from each nozzle group.
