PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift for a construction machine, which can make smooth and easy the motion of a human being at the time of descending a ladder such that both hands of the human being, which hold handrails, respectively, are not at least simultaneously separated from the same at portions of supporting members. SOLUTION: A ladder 7 is attached to a machine main body 3, and hand rails are attached to both sides of the ladder via a plurality of support members. Alternatively, the handrails arranged in one body on both sides of steps are attached to the machine main body via the plurality of support members. The plurality of support members 90-93 connected to the right and left hand rails 81, 80 are made different in height from each other, and they are alternately arranged.
